Bedford Parkrun - 27 February 2016

This week there were 319 people in action and 2 of them were Pete and Sian. Les was volunteering ahead of Cambridge Half Marathon on Sunday.

Pete finished in a time of 25.25 for 126th place and Sian finished in 37.35 for 299th place.

Bedford Parkrun - 20 February 2016

This was a big event for Bedford Parkrun with an impressive 381 runners taking part. It was also a big event for me as it was my 100th Parkrun.

It was just Les and I in action from FlitwickTri.

Times were:

Chris Wright                 65th in 22.28
Les Potts                      148th in 25.57

Cannon Hill Parkrun, Birmingham - 20 February 2016

Pete was slightly further afield on the 20th when he was up in Birmingham for the Cannon Hill, Parkrun. He was one of 664 runners so obviously a big event.

Pete finished 339th in a time of 27.06.

Luton Wardown Parkrun - 13.02.16

The Joneses were off on their travels again on the 13th but these didn't take them far from home. They joined 167 runners are Luton Wardown Parkrun.

Their times were:

Pete Jones                56th in 26.15
Sian Jones               147th in 38.00

Bedford Parkrun - 6 February 2016

This week we had a good turnout from FlitwickTri in action at Bedford Park. The dismal conditions meant a slight drop off in numbers but 270 runners was still a good turnout.

Our results were:

Chris Wright                    50th in 23.10
Stephen Clough               51st in 23.11
Les Potts                         106th in 26.06
Pete Jones                       142nd in 27.56
Fiona Jones                      143rd in 27.56
Sian Jones                        249th in 37.28

Well done all.

York Parkrun - 30.01.16

I thought I’d join the Parkrun tourist club on Saturday as we were up in York.

The York Parkrun is 1.5 circuits round the inside of York Racecourse which meant you could see how far ahead the leaders were (a long way). I certainly wasn’t close enough to see what must have been an exciting finish as 1st & 2nd were given the same time (17.19).

The path round is good but not very wide which meant it was a little crowded to begin with for the also rans as the ground off the path was very muddy – bit like the MK start in that respect.

My time was 22.52 which was 96th out of 435 finishers.
